Coyo's Angels

While Coyotito was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit he had a group of dedicated primary nurses who took care of him, from the early morning to late into the night. Coyotito was in the NICU for five weeks, and would have been there longer if not for the amazing nurses who gave him such loving care, and reached out to support and guide Mamí & Papí too! We are eternally grateful for their commitment and wonderful care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Juliet - who took care of him his first night and explained the NICU to Mamí & Papí...

Jenny - who tended to Coyo, Mamí, and Papí when Coyotito came down with NEC...

Jennise - Coyo's sunshine in the morning... (Go Raiders!)

Heather - our strong rock throughout his stay... (Go Bears!)

Rhea - who kept him warm and cozy at night...

Sukhi - who watched over him through the final stretch...

and walked Coyotito out into the world for the very first time!

Our deep appreciation goes out to Coyo's nurses Flora, Raheema, and Amy, who we were not able to capture on film, but will always be in our hearts.

Also thanks to the incredible doctors of Alta Bates, especially Drs. Sandhu, Espinosa, and Goldberg. Thank you for healing our son and helping him come home!
